I live an exceptionally blessed life, that I would LOVE to share with other people who are hungry for the same kinds of things. I live and work with my closest friends in a spiritual community called the Living Love Fellowship. Our little group is led by my closest friend and dear teacher Amadon.

Before I met Amadon I was sincerely searching for something meaningful in life, and it was really hard to find it. I joined various churches and alternative spiritual pursuits, throwing myself into each of them, studying deeply and participating at all the levels I could within each group. Despite my initial enthusiasm about parts of each path, it was clear that all the ones I tried lacked a kind of truth-resonance and heart. I was looking for people whose values inspired my heart and inspired me to live better.

At the time, I was working as a massage therapist, but feeling inadequate because I wasn’t helping people at the root of their problems. I felt like I was a very expensive band-aid, while leaving the real problems people had in their hearts and souls entirely untouched by my efforts. It was heartbreaking, but it added fuel to my search for something real in life. Finally, after deep soul searching and fervent prayer, I met Amadon.

Amadon was the most real and unexpected answer I could have found. He simply offered himself to me in friendship. He completely understood how I felt about life, even when it was very difficult to express. After a few weeks of knowing him, feeling his care for me, and listening to his wise and understanding counsel, I realized that I found the soul friend I’d always been looking for. He cared about my life and what mattered to my heart with sincere interest and love, and he had some very real answers to solve the problems I saw everywhere within myself and the world around me – answers that made sense to my heart, and challenged my ego.  And he was LIVING them himself.

When I met his community, the people were bright, and happy, and had a sense of purpose in their lives that felt like home to me. They weren’t perfect, but they were disarmingly honest about that, and they had a genuine love for one another, and true happiness in their beings. Their interest in growing and serving was sincere. So, I started learning from Amadon, and I never left. He’s now been my teacher and best friend for ten years.

Here is a poem and letter that Amadon wrote to us, his group of friends, as an expression of his love for us. I have always held it dear. When you read it, I think you’ll understand why I feel so loved by him, and why I love him so.

It is you, in your realized form, that I am. As you habitually see it, it is your potential – but it is really you NOW.

 ~Everything I want is your realization of yourself.

 ~What I crave and rave for is the full manifestation of your present and actual being.

~Who I want is who you are now.

~What I want is what you want.

~How I want is a living manifestation of your present heart.

~What I do is your native and sincere action.

~What I plan and envision is nothing other than your being who you are now.

~When I want is none too soon.

That I would fill everything with me expresses my reality, the reality of God, and your reality as well. That I would drink from the cup that is you is my endless thirst for what I am.
